The New York Stock Exchange
At first I wanted to work on a photograph of the NYSE from early in the morning. But the reality is, it’s always crowded with all kinds of people. So I came back at around 11am. It was summer and packed as usually. The clash of culture is also shown in the vivid use of color where suddenly none is dominantly but each is necessary. This is a piece from my series Metropolitan Aura. A typical city portrait of mine, finished with lots of paint and phosphor.

This piece is currently exhibited at Dr. Kendras dental clinic, kenDent Hannover (kendent.de), starting from July 1st 2024. Thanks to Charly our art ambassador who organized the venue and checked all details with Dr. Kendra and even helped with transport and hanging. See you there.
